Stegman painting has performed several painting projects for us and I highly recommend them. They went above and beyond my experience with other quality painters I have used in several ways.
They painted the exterior of my large 2 story house in 2009, and did a stellar job from start to finish. They were: True to their estimate Very thorough in preparation of the surfaces – I was amazed at the time they spent being sure mildew and dirt were gone so the paint would adhere well – previous painters had not been so thorough, and it made a big difference in the outcome of the work and how new the paint still looks after 4 years They showed up on time, everyday, until the job was complete. They were very aware of things that would affect the long-term results, and went for what would produce the highest quality result, even when it would inconvenience them – For example – one afternoon while painting my house Dave Stegman stopped to check the dew point because that effects how well paint cures – it was too high so he stopped painting and came back the next day, even though it would have been much easier for him and his crew to finish the project that day.
They were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They answered all my questions and asked me about my preferences on things I hadn’t even thought about. When I was off-site or out of town, Dave Stegman called me to update his progress and when questions came up that involved my input.
On another project, Stegman painting replaced the acrylic panels in a door, painted the door and the woodwork on my yurt which had become weather damaged. I was offsite the whole time, I trusted Stegman Painting to do an excellent job, and they did. After 2 years the paint still looks like new – no brush marks, very smooth, perfect adherence.
